Key takeaways
  • Cheapest official price right now is in the UAE: AED 4,299 for the 256GB model.
  • Within Saudi Arabia, prices differ by up to SAR 300 for the exact same model.
  • The international warranty covers both countries, but free replacement in the first 30 days is tied to the country of purchase.

Same question every year: buy in Saudi or bring it from the UAE? This year the answer is simpler, because the official price gap is around SAR 400 in the UAE’s favor. But warranty and customs details can flip the math.

How we collected prices

We checked Apple’s official stores in both countries and the largest authorized resellers (Jarir, Extra, Noon, Amazon), logging the 256GB price on 19 October 2026. We excluded unverified third-party sellers, because the warranty difference eats any price gap.

If you are flying to Dubai anyway, buying there saves about SAR 400 before any promos. Buying in Saudi, Jarir is currently the cheapest authorized option, and zero-interest installment offers matter more than the sticker price difference between stores.

Buying advice

Wait for White Friday (late November) if you can: last year this model dropped SAR 250 during sale week. If you need it now and plan to buy from a UAE store online, pay with a card that has no foreign-currency fee.

Why buy it now?
  • Improved 48MP camera in low light
  • About 4 hours more battery than iPhone 16 Pro
  • Titanium frame, 15g lighter
  • KSA-UAE price gap currently at its lowest
Why wait?
  • No charger in the box
  • Base storage is 256GB only at this price
  • November sales could save SAR 250

FAQ

Does a UAE iPhone work normally in Saudi?
Yes. Both versions share the same network bands and eSIM setup, and the international warranty covers manufacturing defects in both countries. Only the free 30-day replacement is limited to the country of purchase.
Any customs if I bring one from Dubai?
One phone for personal use is effectively exempt when entering Saudi Arabia. More than one may be assessed, and value above the traveler allowance requires a declaration.
Buy from a cheaper third-party seller?
If the difference is under SAR 150, no. An authorized seller gives you an official invoice and a warranty that starts on activation day; gray sellers sometimes ship pre-activated units, which shortens your warranty.
