Key takeaways
  • The cheapest overall price for a 2026 Camry right now is in the UAE.
  • In Egypt, customs and fees roughly double the car’s base price.
  • The LE trim is the most in-demand and the fastest to resell in both Gulf markets.

The Camry is the best-selling sedan in the Gulf, and its price becomes a debate every year as fees change. The problem is that each market advertises a differently calculated number: Saudi quotes include VAT, the UAE excludes registration, and Egypt’s prices move weekly. Our table normalizes everything to an "on-the-road price": everything you pay before the car moves legally.

How we calculated it

We took the base LE trim price from the official dealer in each country and added VAT, registration and plate fees, plus average comprehensive insurance for the first year for a standard driver. We excluded promos tied to mandatory financing.

The UAE is about SAR 8,000 cheaper than Saudi Arabia in equivalent terms, mostly due to the tax difference (5% vs 15% VAT). Egypt is a different story: customs duties on imported cars push the price to roughly double the Gulf level, which is why the Camry sells to a very narrow audience there.

Is it worth it in 2026?

If you want a reliable family sedan with guaranteed resale, the Camry is still the safe answer, especially the LE trim. But if price matters most, rivals like the Hyundai Sonata and Honda Accord offer more equipment for the same money - we will compare them in a dedicated piece soon.

FAQ

What is the difference between LE and GLE?
GLE adds larger wheels, a bigger screen, leather seats, a sunroof and extra safety systems. The gap is about SAR 24,000, and it shows most at resale time.
What does the warranty cover?
3 years or 100,000 km in the Gulf (whichever comes first), covering manufacturing defects. Scheduled maintenance is on you, typically SAR 800-1,200 per visit depending on trim.
Is personal import from the UAE cheaper?
On paper you might save SAR 5,000-8,000, but you pay 5% customs and 15% VAT on the assessed value and lose the local dealer warranty. For most people, your home-market dealer is effectively cheaper and much simpler.
